
GMN TV, created a buzz with its new current affairs program ''Diplomata'' which has aired from the beginning of the year.

GMN TV presenter Francez Suni asked the UN in Timor-Leste Resident Coordinator, Mr Roy Trivedy, about his background, his impressions of Timor-Leste and the future for the relationship between the UN and the government and people of Timor-Leste.
Mr Trivedy has experience in Kenya, Malawi, India, Mozambique, Central Asia, Papua New Guinea and has been in Timor-Leste since mid 2018.
''UN staff are fully committed to change, and that change has to come from within,'' Mr Trivedy told the program. ''The UN can facilitate ideas we can gather from around the world but its the Timor-Leste staff who ensure they work.''
''Timor-Leste people are very open, and very proud of their traditions and culture.''
Mr. Suni talked to local UN staff about what their roles were and what it was like working in this industry.
The head of the Resident Coordinator's Office, Ms Adelina Carly Tilman Lourdes, discussed what it was like working with Mr Trivedy.

The head of the UN Information Technology Unit, Uldericho ze Marchardo, spoke about his role keeping the IT systems alive, and the UN's solar panel array which generates half the power the UN needs.

And The Manager of Environment and Sustainability from the UNDP, Ms. Felisberta Monis Silva discussed climate change.
